During October, DHNS is Pumping Up Purple for Lupus Awareness. Players, cheerleaders, coaches and parents are encouraged to wear purple during the month of October to raise awareness of lupus. No pink this year. It’s time to tackle lupus!
DHNS will also be selling purple socks and wristbands during practice. Check with Roxanne on the availability of Pump Up Purple for Lupus shirts. Also, you can visit the Lupus Foundation to learn more about the disease.
