2017 Team App

DHNS Football will be using Team App to communicate with parents this season. Simply download “Team App” on your phone and then search for “DHNS” to find your team. Be sure to enable push notifications to get important updates all season long.

Not sure which football team your child is on?
Seniors (age 10-12) – DHNS Bulldogs
Juniors (age 8-9) – DHNS Steers
Bantam (age 6-7) – DHNS Eagles
Flag (age 4-5) – DHNS Falcons

Each cheer squad will also have their own app.

DHNS Cheer Bulldogs
DHNS Cheer Steers
DHNS Cheer Eagles

League reps, coaches and team moms will use the app to communicate league news and team reminders. The app will also feature the season’s schedule, as soon as it is available, as well as the addresses to game fields and more.

If you have any issues downloading or using the app, please see Roxanne during practice for a quick tutorial.

Hydration 101

It’s extremely important to keep your young athlete properly hydrated throughout the season, but especially during the hot temperatures.

Even mild dehydration can affect your child’s athletic performance. Dehydration increases the risk of other heat-related illnesses, including heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heatstroke.

USA Football offers these tips and guidelines to help you keep your young athlete hydrated.

DHNS Football Conditioning

DHNS Football Conditioning will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8PM at Diamond Hill Jarvis (DHJ) High School from July 25-August 10. Your child should be in athletic shoes and clothing and be ready to learn and work hard. Also please ensure that your child stays properly hydrated all summer. Your child must be registered in order to participate in conditioning.

At least $100 of the $150 fee must be paid by 7/28 in order to be issued equipment and to have your child’s uniform ordered. Deadline to pay remaining balance is 8/11. If you have any questions or issues, please contact DHNS President Roxanne Martinez as soon as possible.
