The SOAR program offers youth leadership development, combined with post-high school readiness programming, designed for middle and high school youth in the community.
SOAR programming focuses on preparing youth to face life challenges and barriers through a series of small group, interactive activities that help to develop leadership skills, such as conflict resolution, positive and productive communication skills, goal setting, teambuilding, and empowerment.
As part of SOAR programming, youth participants will engage in the following focus areas:
