Thank you for your interest in being a DHNS Youth soccer coach-mentor! If selected, you will receive an email and text by 6/4.

Coach Guidelines & Requirements

As a DHNS Youth soccer coach-mentor, you will be required to attend a training prior to coaching. Coach-mentors are expected to abide by rules, codes of conduct and expectations set forth by DHNS Youth Association and FWISD.

There is a small cash stipend of $250 that will issued to coach-mentors upon completion of the season. In addition, we will record and sign off on any community service hour requirements.

Please be prepared to meet the following requirements:

Coaches are expected to lead their own practice drills. A ball, cones and whistle will be provided. Youth will be required to bring their own soccer ball to practice. Game balls will be provided.

Coaches will be required to complete a live training class (TBD). Coaches are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before practice and game time each week. Games are 45 minutes or less.

Coaches must be available on these dates:

• Evaluation Day: Tuesday, 6/23 at 6:30pm (to draft teams)
• Practice Dates: 6/23 and 6/30 with practice time at 6:30pm or 7:30pm depending on age division.
• Game Days: 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28 with game times either 6:30pm or 7:30pm depending on age division.
