STEM Sports provides turnkey K-8 curriculum that uses sports as the real-life application to drive STEM-based, hands-on learning. As a result, students develop critical thinking, collaboration, creative problem-solving, and leadership skills that can be applied throughout their education and future careers.
The program steps of Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate & Evaluate all support inquiry-based and active learning, allowing students to make their own discoveries and to process and absorb STEM skills. The STEM Sports program meets Next Generation Science Standards, Common Core State Standards and National Standards for K-12 Physical Education.
Launching in Fall 2021, STEM Sports will be integrated into our existing youth sports programs as well as facilitated at local afterschool programs.
